6X6 4 PEACE Movement
Since 2003, Artists for World Peace has been changing lives around the world through the arts. In 2017, we launched our 6x6 4 PEACE MOVEMENT. We invited artists to create and donate a painting on a 6”x6” stretched canvas. We have been exhibiting these works of art on our PEACE WALL, which has been traveling for the past 8 years. Any painting is available for a $50+ donation to AFWP. To date, over 3,000 artists have been exhibited on our PEACE WALL, where we welcome ALL races, religions, nationalities, genders and political affiliations.
In 2020, we hosted our first Virtual PEACE WALL Show, which featured hundreds of artists from around the world in an online auction. This was critical in helping our work during COVID—allowing us to continue to provide education, homes, warm clothes, art supplies, and more for our communities in Tanzania, Rosebud Reservation, and Middletown, CT.
We are thrilled to present our fifth online PEACE WALL show, which will be held on November 7th and 8th, 2025. In addition to the work funding our free NATIVE EYES clinics and warm clothing drives for Native Americans on the Rosebud Reservation, we are also providing education and housing for our Children of Peace—a family of 24 of our children living at our PEACE HOUSE in Tanzania.
