COMEDY ON DEMAND is now officially our favorite improv group! THANK YOU TO COMEDY ON DEMAND, to Ta Ta and everyone at Typhoon for their amazing food and hospitality, and to everyone who filled the restaurant and laughed with us! To top it off, the night raised all the money we needed to open our very first FREE EYE CLINIC right here at home in Middletown, CT, for people who live in Middlesex County.

Comedy On Demand (COD) is a professionally trained, Connecticut-based improv troupe that is now in its 11th year. COD’s members came together while studying the classical Viola Spolin/Paul Sills improv methods with Ira Sakolsky of Riverway Studios in East Haddam. These are the same techniques studied by such legendary comedy entertainers as Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Jim Belushi, Gilda Radner, Tina Fey, Steve Carrell, and Steven Colbert.
COD’s always new and highly entertaining shows feature scenes, skits, and songs made up on the spot, often based on suggestions from the audience. The COD players — Dave Caffrey, Robin Fox, Casey O’Neill, Michele Ridolfi O’Neill, and Anna Maria Trusky — are five grown adults who get their kicks acting like famous celebrities, movie monsters, deep-sea divers, compulsive belchers, jugglers, toddlers, aliens, proctologists, alien proctologists, or whatever suggestions their audiences throw at them!
COD has performed in such venues as Filomena’s, Foxwoods, the Essex Steam Train, Deep River Town Hall Auditorium, Andrews Memorial Town Hall in Clinton, Chester Meeting House, Adams Mill, Cherrystones, Gelston House, and Iron Chef.
