Making the Peace Belt
|
After circling the globe for seven years, The International Peace Belt, initial project of Artists for World Peace, has been worn by peace keepers in eighteen countries and on four continents. From Vietnam War veterans in Vietnam to shaman in South Korea and Ecuador to a Flamenco instructor in Spain, hundreds have incorporated The International Peace Belt into their sacred ceremonies and artistic performances, making the belt a living link between all cultures and peoples.

Brazil Celebration – Save the Date!
In celebration of Brazil, Artists for World Peace will be presenting samba, dance, music, food, and art from around the country.

Are you an artist?A group of Wesleyan students is teaming up with Artists for World Peace to do a research project about Middlesex students’ access to higher education in the arts. We are looking for high school students,college students and parents to interview.
Dr. Yoram Kaufmann Scholarship Fund
Artists for World Peace, an international non-profit organization dedicated to fostering peace through artistic expression, will use the funds to enable children around the world to attain an education. Beginning with children from the Santa Clara Orphanage in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, we aim to eventually sponsor a child in each country.

Donations will go to the traveling and documenting of our International Peace Belt as well as to our larger vision of helping others working in every corner of the world.
