On Saturday, June 11th The International Peace Belt joined in with the Drum City Parade and Drum Circle on the New Haven Green, in New Haven, Connecticut. Focusing on the world of drums – ritual, music, and a percussive means of communication in many languages and cultures – the Drum City Parade led the way to the New Haven Green, where participants joined together to perform in a giant percussion circle. This event is part of The International Festival of Arts and Ideas 10th Anniversary Celebration.
