Artists for World Peace, Inc. was proud to participate in this exciting event: A day of music and dance produced by a planning committee of arts organizations, dance studios, civic and corporate leaders, and facilitated by Wesleyan University’s Center for the Arts.
The International Peace Belt was first performed in by Mara Morris. Mara gave a world dance for families workshop where she shared dance from around the world. All ages joined in a circle to share the fire of the gypsy and the festive rhythm of life. Mara Morris embraces many cultures in celebrating our own rich and varied heritage with village dance.
