Artists for World Peace | RAISE THE ROOF!

Fundraiser event with live music, African crafts (for children of all ages) and ice cream! Cold Stone Creamery will  donate 25% of its proceeds. Artists for World Peace and the Good Hope Foundation (in Tanzania) are presenting this fundraiser to construct a roof for a community health center in Moshi, Tanzania. We are also looking for the following donations to the community health center. Artists for World Peace will be traveling to Tanzania in August. If anyone would like to donate any of the following, please drop them off at Cold Stone Creamery on Friday, June 25th between the hours of 6:00-9:00 p.m. or call our office and we will arrange another time. Needed are:

• Sewing machines, new or in excellent condition.
• Sewing supplies: fabric, thread, needles, tape measures, pins
• Lap top computers, new or in excellent condition.
• Office supplies such as pens, pencils, computer paper, paper clips, scissors.
• Art supplies: paint, brushes, canvases, sketch pads, markers, crayons
• Brand new shoes. (for boys and girls ages 3-18).

On August 1st, a group from Artists for World Peace will be traveling to Moshi, Tanzania. Our work there involves raising the funds to “Raise the Roof!” on a community health care center, as well as to bring supplies, and much love, to the orphans living at Good Hope. The target date for the completion of the community health center is December 1st.
