We would like to thank all of our amazing supporters for once again making this year’s Chief Luciano Perez Holiday Drive to the Rose Bud Reservation the enormous success it was. I received a phone call from a woman named Diane Flynn telling me that she and the Haddam-Killingworth Football Team had collected 200 coats that they would like to donate to our drive. Needless to say, we were thrilled!! On the day we all met to pack boxes, in walked Diane and her husband, with the 200 coats. These were added to the annual coat donation from the Duffy School in West Hartford. It is always thrilling to be able to bring hundreds of warm, beautiful winter coats to our friends on the reservation.

We would like to thank the hundreds of volunteers who make donations every year, in the form of food, clothing, warm blankets, gifts, and cash. Thank you to Middlesex Hospital for the donation of hundreds of boxes, to the First Church of Christ (in Middletown, CT.) for allowing us to use your wonderful space each year, and to our friends at Extra Space Storage. Once again our friend Lou, at Price Rite in Cromwell, Connecticut, ordered skids of food that we were able to load right onto our truck. A special thank you goes out to the Haddam Killingworth Football team, Principal Charlie Macunas, Coach O’Rourke, Diane Flynn and family, Nick and Greg Duval, Todd and Brett Nielson, Jamie Datino, Maria Peck and family (Rich and Eric), Paula and Robbie Sheahan, Sam Chichester, Sarah Trobaugh,Kathleen White, Lucy Mc Millan, Randene Tetu, Scott Pray, Nikki Fallone and family (Troy, Joey, Jesse, and Jaden), Sarah Neff and her boyfriend Armand, The Wytas family (Michele, Steve, Samuel, and Nathan), Liz Sequenzia, Robert Nasta (my right hand man), and the hundreds of others who help us in so many ways.
